Snowed in

Snowed in

I brought home snow

On my coatโ€”

It melted

On the floor

Within seconds.

  1. We don’t want snow to come here and bother us…

    1. Neither did I. But I had to shovel my way out to the balcony when I went to smoke. And it’s still piling up, the white wet shit.

    1. I wish I could change places with you. I’m tired of shovelling my balcony (!). Could do with some warmth ๐Ÿ™‚

          1. I did live in a place where it snowed a few time each year but nothing like you get. I’m sure the novelty of it would be short lived.

          2. The weather has been weird since climate change, we didn’t use to get so much snow, neither did we use to get such low temperatures or such hot summers. It’s swinging from one extreme to another now.

          3. Same is happening here. We are having very hot weather at present. Hot nights as well.

          4. Yep. Climate change is apparently global and it sucks. No matter how much our former president insists that it doesn’t exist. (Vaclav Klaus, and yes, I’m serious.)

  4. Lucky you grin! All our snow is gone now. Everything is back to being greyish-brown. The humidity is close to 100%, the southwest wind is howling in the ventilation ducts in the building. Everything feels damp … you can’t tell whether it’s raining or just … wet air. Yuck.

    1. If you fancy more snow, just come over and build snowman on my balcony… Plenty of material there! I dug out a narrow path to my favourite spot on the balcony where I squat and smoke (I found you preserve more body warmth when curled up in a ball rather than just standing upright, exposed to the weather). Though I imagine I look ridiculous squatting there.

  5. I love the outdoors, nature, birds, trees, everything.
Snow is one of the few things better seen from the other side of a window.
