    1. The supermarket is about a kilometer from my house, but it’s an okay walk. It’s industrial area, so busy roads but few people, which is perfect for me. I don’t even have to put on make-up when I go there 😉 I liked the apples too, surprisingly, I’m not normally into these things. But they made for a fun picture. (And I didn’t buy any.)

      1. Here in Saint John, you NEVER have to put on make-up! There’s a very laid-back lifestyle here. In Quebec they were dressed to kill, just to go to the grocery store 😀

        1. I’m not so surprised about Quebec… I’d expect it to be a fashionista field. Well, here you can walk around make-up or no make-up, but I do feel more comfortable when my face is presentable when I go among people. One needs to be considerate of others, right 😉

          1. Exactly! Here, they go in pyjama pants 🙂
Another interesting tidbit about Quebec: The obesity epidemic doesn’t seem to have reached the province of Quebec. I made sure to look around for that, last summer when I was there … no such thing! And here, it’s grotesque …

          2. We don’t go out in pyjamas here, but a certain group of people considers a tracksuit to be fancy clothes for all occasions… I should probably move to Quebec to lose weight. Ha.

          3. Here: anything goes! Nobody would raise an eyebrow. In Stockholm, where they seem to have a certain dress code, they can immediately spot someone coming in from elsewhere in the country because they wear tracksuits LOL

          4. I never fail to grin when I see an entire family dressed up in tracksuits, especially when their figures tell the tale that they don’t go to the gym… I know, I’m mean.

    1. I share your hatred of grocery shopping. I do recommend taking a phone with you, go for it, it worked for me to make the errand more bearable. Also, I got this lovely shot, my favourite, of a guy reading a tabloid in the shop before buying it without buying it.
