What I Hated the Least Today 35/365: Bookmarks

  1. Oh wow! I love to see these types of set-ups … it goes to prove how differently we work on these machines. I must pull myself together and organise mine too. They’re in a terrible disarray, but it’s no fault of mine … something happened, that’s another story.

For now, I just have my absolutely MOST frequent ones in the favourites bar [depending on which browser I use, right here and now, it’s Chrome, otherwise Safari].

The Misc/Uncategorized folders always make me sad.

On an unrelated note: Referring to my comment on the unemployment agency, I now see you have Netflix. The show I was talking about is on Netflix, at least here …

    1. I love to see how other people are organising their computer space too! Before the revamp, I had the absolute favourite as icons on the bookmark bar and just three folders. But then the folders grew too unwieldy so I foldered everything…

Now, how to make my way round the Misc folder, that’s bugging me 😮

I think the Netflix now available in my region, since last month, is not localised – it’s in English – and I do wonder what the selection will be. I just browsed the site a little but didn’t get anywhere far without registering, which is what I’ll need to think about yet because it’s not as cheap as it should be. (Nothing is, right 😉 )

    1. Don’t be so harsh on yourself. With some things, computers including, the less you know, the better – I’m a semi-advanced PC user and I’m permanently frustrated because things often don’t work out the way they should. Especially since I “upgraded” to Windows 10. I’m sentimental about Windows 95 now.

        1. Yes, Window 10 is the horror, the horror. Upgrade to Win10 plus upgrade to Office 2016 messed up with my computer so much that half of the things don’t work. I’m trying to fix them gradually by using tips and tricks on the internet… Just yesterday I got my Outlook email client to work. I guess I want too much when I ask for a functioning email client…
