I hope to be hysterically hilarious. But maybe I'm just hysterical.
The cat ventured on the terrace and hated it so much that she hid under a chair.
Cats are weird 🙂

I know, cat logics!
Maybe she has her eye on something 😉
Yes, that’s possible, I think she misses fly hunting since I moved her from outdoors to indoors.
Such a cute photo.
Thank you! The cat sends her regards 😉
She is such a cutie 🙂
I don’t think she hated it. Cats like to conceal themselves where they can observe in relative safety.
That is very true. My cat likes to conceal herself under my wheel office chair. I dread that I might forget and hurt her when I move! Surprisingly, she doesn’t like the terrace really, she’s crouching and cowering when she ventures there, much like what she does when there’s a storm and the poor thing is scared. Cats!
They are peculiar little creatures.
We have been having a heatwave and temperatures are quite steamy. My silly cat prefers to be outdoors sleeping under a shrub in the heat than indoors in the air conditioning. Go figure!
Oh yes, cat logic in its purest form! My cat also loved to hide in the bushes when it was hot, though there were cooler places to hide. I wonder if she misses this, since she moved with me in a flat with not garden…
I’m guessing she does.
On the other hand, I had a visitor the other day who observed that despite the confinement, my cat looks happy 🙂
So much for freedom, eh? I can relate…
It’s a classic case of cat logic too – when she lived outdoors, she didn’t care to roam anywhere; now when she lives indoors, she acts as if she wanted to go out but then she hates it outside. I love her anyway 😉
She’s beautiful, in any case 🙂 McDuff is an indoor cat. Once the door was left ajar, and he snuck out on the patio, but quickly ran back in again.
I have the same experience! My cat has grown so much used to the indoors that she doesn’t even want to go out. Of course, I’m pleased that she adapted well after the transition from the garden to the flat.
