  1. This makes me think of Mayflies.The adults have life spans that extend over minutes or very few days.
    Their French name,besides,is Éphémère,which means ephemeral.I remember this fact from Titeuf – like all kids,I used to be a big fan. 🙂

    1. That’s a beautiful comment! Yes, I’ve heard of mayflies, though I’m not sure that I ever saw one. Their French name is very apposite! More than mayflies, lacewings keep my interest now – as they bug (quite literally) me in my flat. I find and remove at least one each day…
