Weekly Photo Challenge: Orange

While my favourite colour is red, I could do with orange too. Especially when it involves a generous sprinkling of grunge. In response to WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Orange.

  1. Very gritty and citrus flavoured. I’m liking the idea of this challenge. My brother loves orange, so there should be a few items I can photograph when I visit.

    1. Yes, I loved the idea of the orange challenge too, but it’s been around for two days now and I’m slowly starting to get allergic to orange… Oops. I’ll make an exception for you if you should some orange at your brother’s place. Sounds intriguing!

    1. Thank you very much! I was lucky to have this orange photo just sitting in my folder with the most recent pics I took – it was a spontaneous shot done without much thinking and it’s funny how it came handy so soon ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. You really are a grungy girl, Mara. Me too. I think the way I dress is grungy too – jeans and T-shirt all the time. But I digress. Great photo. Very bright orange. It makes me think of orange juice ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. Oh yes, I’m walking grunge! It’s great to find a fellow grungy girl ๐Ÿ™‚ I used to walk around in jeans and a T-shirt all the time too but then I started teaching and hence started to dress in a sober and elegant manner… But now I digress too! Thanks so much for stopping by, and enjoy your orange juice ๐Ÿ˜‰

      1. I’m trying to learn how to dress less grungy for work but I am very tiny. Fancy clothes just do not fit me, or at least don’t fit me well. Oh well, I’ll just keep hunting. On a positive note, bright orange T-shirts suit me ๐Ÿ™‚

        1. Oh I can hear you! I’m not so tiny but I used to be v skinny and it was a huge trouble to find nice fitting clothes. Now i’m not so thin but it’s still a challenge. And I’m imagining you in a bright orange T-shirt now ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. a very neat photo now i wonder if that scrawl actually means something ๐Ÿ™‚

I also have a question for you, i have been trying to tidy up my contact page, I know you are pretty good at coding. I want to put my social media buttons with inidividual links to my social media platforms. Trouble is, if you put them in as individual images they look messy at you can see on my blog, i would prefer it as a gallery or some kind of table, you cannot put images in a gallery yet have individual links to each photo going somewhere else and I simply cannot work out the table issue, I tried to do some research but the coding was way above me. Being a lady who is always neat and tidy do you have a solution for me, because my messy page is stressing me out lol x

    1. Oh, I suspect that the scrawl on the wall means nothing in any language I know! It was probably just a random cry of a random vandal…

I’m so sorry, I know what you want to achieve with your coding question but I have no idea how to do it. My coding is extremely basic. Maybe try asking at the WordPress support forum?

      Good luck with this!

    1. Yes, though I’m not even sure if the tag is in a “language” at all… It looks like a pointless scribble to me, but it at least it has a value for a grunge-loving amaterour shooter like me ๐Ÿ˜‰
