It’s a minor miracle when this cat wakes up.

    1. I know right, she would be adorable even if she weren’t adorable because she’s mine… If that makes any sense!

  2. I have loved a few cats, but they don’t live long. I guess I want them to stay forever and have a hard time giving them up.

One cat our son loved more than life lived to be eighteen years old, but then a coyote bit him in the back of his skull and he died from the infection after the bite. What was really sweet was that the cat hated our collie dog, but when he was injured he went to her for comfort. He slept with her the last few days of his life.

    1. That’s the sad thing about life — that everything dies. I had one cat die on me, she was run over by a car only after few months that I had her. I mourned two years but then I concluded that I still wanted another cat, and now (knock, knock) I have the sweetest kitty ever (the one in the photo), who has also sense enough to stay in the garden and not to roam where she could come to harm. Hopefully she’ll live long — though surely not as long as my other pet, a turtle, who could easily outlive me. Thank you for sharing your story — it’s a very touching one…
