Maybe I could try taking photos of the same spot over a period of time to see how it changes during the seasons. This is actually a great idea that you gave me, though I doubt that I’m consistent enough to pull it off…
I was actually trying to document a patch of moss in the course of time for some two months or so, and I got images of it when it was covered in snow, soaked in rain and dry. Then I completely forgot about it. How disappointing. Here are however the pictures: https://maraeastern.com/2014/01/22/zero-to-hero-21/.
Taking pictures of the same spot over the seasons is a great idea. I have been trying that with the path I walk in the park. I just keep falling out of my walking schedule. I need to get back on track and I think using the picture idea will help me with that.
I think I am going to try again once September gets here. The weather is so much better for walking. It has been really humid and hot and I hate walking in that mess.
Please do! I’m myself quite excited about the idea again, maybe we could both give it a try ๐ I think I’d probably document the field behind our garden, it could be interesting to see the different phases of farming, from planting the crops to harvesting it.
I think I’m unfavourably biased against this view because it’s a view from the building where I work ๐ฎ And I normally don’t associate work with nice views…
One of my faves!!!

This is quite funny, it’s actually one of my least favourite photos — maybe because it’s a common view for me that I see often ๐

Haha that’s excellent! I love different takes on the same object or image. ๐

Oooohhh that is definitely worth a try! I too think that my inconsistent personality trait would put that to rest fairly quickly though lol

A path in a park is the perfect subject to document! I’d love to see the results, if you choose to go for this project ๐

A really lovely place to sit.

Isn’t it? A shame I only saw it from above and wasn’t really down there!

Great perspective – in both meanings of the word.

It looks lovely for sure — I only saw some parts of the garden from above, but those parts where I could and did go were pleasant enough ๐

Wow how high were you?

The picture was shot from the window of a building standing on a rock, so I wasn’t as high as it looks ๐
