Aren’t all those numbers confusing? This is my 316th post, it’s called “1982” as a friendly nod to Orwell’s novel, and it depicts “1997” inexplicably built in the pavement. I’m intrigued. A hilarious and sadly very truthful poem by Ronovan to go with the picture:

Mara the Mad Clicker

Oh, my dear Mara
One who is called a teacher
You call this 1982
But the truth is obvious to a street sweeper

Look at that one
And the nine nine seven
Donโ€™t you be doing the baking
Or the bread will come out unleaven

Stick to your clickin
Of that shuttered point and shoot
Cause lady as a mathematician
You would sure get the boot

    1. Hahaha ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m now officially dead by laughter! You nailed it so well!! I’m truly completely incompetent when it comes to numbers. How did you know? Is it so obvious?

          1. haha you likey my Engishey then? Just finished Day 8. I find the challenges annoyingly come out as my kids get home so then I cannot do them on that day. Then I do them the next day but as a consequence am behind everyone else and the enthusiasm then for looking at each others entries has dwindled, I wish they could schedule the challenges to come out earlier for us Euros xx

          2. Yes, I know! The challenges come out at a time when I’m either taking a nap or starting an evening working session, so I always do them the next day in the morning. It doesn’t bother me though, at least I can think about what I’ll be writing overnight.

          3. You are probably right. I do get some feedback on the Commons though. It’s something like one comment for each other post I post there, so not much, but still better than nothing. But more people are coming to see my blog and I’ve just reached 500 followers, as WordPress informed me ๐Ÿ˜€ This was goal in Blogging 201!

          5. Ha! Am I supposed to do something for a blogaversary? I think I’ll start my photo project 365 anew! I kind of got used to it and it’s a good way to post every day without putting too much effort into it ๐Ÿ™‚ The blogaversary is August 1, so it’s still time though. Hm, thinking about it, will you bake me a cake? :-p
