I wonder if this is a local attempt to imitate Prague’s Lennon Wall. Read what the talented Ronovan has to say about this picture in the language of poetry:

If Walls Could Talk

I’ve stood through time
Lasted longer than life
Ages strive to mar me
To degrade me with strife

Yet I stand while they fade
New come and cover the old
While I ever remain firm
And the careless become cold

    1. OK, your poem should be used as a definition of the Lennon Wall. It’s a perfect fit. I’m still thinking how best to make use of your lovely poems… Hope you’re at least OK with me adding them to my posts?

          1. Yesterday I put the poem on my site and linked back to your photo so people could click to see what inspired it. I have to admit I was happy with that poem. Not totally satisfied because there was a piece missing but I was okay with it.

So we both get use of it on our sites. πŸ™‚

          2. Good, so that would be win-win πŸ˜€ Now don’t feel like you HAVE to write me poems, it’s great that you’ve written so many (including the one for my cat!) and I’m honoured, but I don’t want to put pressure on you πŸ˜‰

          3. No pressure. It’s nice to sit here and look at your work and just escape. At first I saw windows behind the painted veil but then the other words came to me.
