I’d love to shoot epic subjects; sadly, there’s very little epic (or lyric, for the case) in our backyard. Indulging in self-torture as I do, I frequent a particular spot in the yard and document the growth of this one patch of moss in the course of time. For your information, the moss has been looking like this for months. A very dynamic subject.

  1. I actually love moss. Sad but true. One of the things I am missing about my garden in Scotland is the collection of moss I had growing on my garden wall and the sphagnum moss I had growing among rocks in my garden. Missing moss. Sigh.

    1. I can understand that you miss Scotland. It’s a gorgeous country and if I could choose, I’d totally move there 😉 Moss is fine, I’m a fan of moss too, it’s just that too much is too much — sometimes I fancy shooting some other subjects for a change!

      1. I should probably feel that way about taking crazy numbers of photos of my kids as I obsessively document their lives. They call me the mammarazzi. Miss is more compliant than small boys.

        1. Mammarazzi is cool! It’s obvious that the lives of one’s children must be documented, nothing strange about it 😉
