I keep on being fascinating by decay. That’s probably the best you can do in decaying surroundings. This particular sample of decay is a close-up of a random surface found in the backyard.

What wonderful colours. I would be tempted to put this up in my house. I have a bit of an obsession with photographing rust too. On Monday my husband and I actually spent a day of our romantic ie child-free getaway touring dilapidated places in the Poconos. I took hundreds of photos. I’m hoping to get them up on my blog later this week. I might print some of them to have up in the house.

You’re my kind of person! I prefer shooting decaying rather than ostensibly pretty subjects. My husband is the opposite, but we do go on shooting sessions together and than split, hubby to shoot decorated facades and me to shoot rusty details 😉 Thanks for stopping by and I’m looking forward to your rusty pics!
