Thought I’m not an easily excitable person, I literally squealed with joy when I spotted this year’s first snowdrops.

  1. Nice! – it sounds like you have a superb and assorted garden!
What season is the Czech Republic currently in?
Funnily your pictures suggest that your country’s climate changes pretty often.I remember when you took pictures of the heaps of snow on which your cat was lying, and then, there was the picture of your avatar, and now,the ‘snowdrops’ (nice name for a flower, never heard about them before)

    1. Thank you, you’re too kind!

We don’t have a superb garden, we have a random mix of flower and vegetable patches and trees, as a whole, it looks quite ugly. But there’s lots of photographic opportunities if one only chooses to zoom on details rather than the whole thing. 🙂

Currently there’s spring here, but the weather is quite interchangeable, as you noticed. Especially in spring. The photo from my avatar was shot during a bout of lovely weather in February (!), now it’s April and there’s snow lying in some parts of the country. Very nasty.

Never heard of snowdrops? That’s actually cute, they’re very common spring flowers in most of Europe, at least as far as I know. I used a dictionary translation because I didn’t know the name in English, but I believe it’s correct and I’m not misleading you 🙂

Say what?
