This is what happens when you’re too enthusiastic with the “boost saturation” button.

    1. Oh I’m so sorry, I’ve rewritten the original photo, so I don’t have it for comparison any more… That’s one of my earlier photos, but now I’m saving the original photos too. The red dots is rosehip, no wonder you couldn’t tell from the picture πŸ˜‰

  1. One day you should save your money and buy a DSLR.
When you take a picture of an afternoon on long exposure, the sky turns violet,a bit like this:

Given that you look very curious,I bet you’ll explore everything a DSLR has to offer.Think of it! πŸ™‚

And did you buy or download photoshop? I downloaded mine freely, although it’s only CS5 as I still have vista (must buy another laptop)!

    1. You’re right. In fact, my husband implied that he would give me this camera as a gift for my graduation, but of course, first I must graduate, which is not that easy, as you can imagine.

The picture you linked to is awesome; I doubt that I’ll ever come near to that though!

I’m not using the regular Photostop, I’m using a similar application, called Corel Painshop, which has several advantages over Photoshop: it’s MUCH cheaper, it’s much more user-friendly, and it has built-in help tips. Actually, I think Corel is superior to Photoshop — I have tried both, so I can compare.

You still have Vista? Poor dear! It’s said to be one of the worst Microsoft’s fails… I’ve got Windows 7 and I’m keeping it; Windows 8 looks just awful to me with all the wildly coloured tiles. I find it distracting. Also, I’m missing the Start button — my husband is using Windows 8 and I always forget how on earth I should navigate when on his computer…

      1. Once I did tell my parents that Vista was a failure, but they thought I was inventing excuses.

They never give me anything. It’s me who buy my own things.I had money to purchase a new laptop, but I preferred going for Folio books and a new camera.Sooner or later I think I’ll have to change.Chrome crashes every time flash is playing and slows down the laptop!

        1. You’re surely not inventing any excuses with Vista — but of course, you wouldn’t want to argue with your parents…

It’s good that you have your priories figured out — I’m not sure how I would decide myself if I had to choose between books, a camera and a laptop!

Glad to hear that you’re using Chrome though, it’s much faster than Internet Explorer, as you surely have found out for yourself. I didn’t believe it, but I gave it a try and now I use nothing but Chrome!
